The focal point of this piece is a cross with lily-esque bar detailing. It is a direct reference to fleur de lis, otherwise known as the royal lily, another sought-after Gothic image. Not only does it add an artistic quality to the cross but also imbues it with nobility. One more symbol inherent in this piece is a large snake wrapping around the cross. While the latter represent spirituality, the serpent denotes sinfulness. The juxtaposition of these images has it own meaning – there is no saintliness without sins.This dark and meaningful pendant is cast in beautiful sterling silver. We generously provided it with a blackened coarse texture that is noticeable from far and wide.
