Carefully, the artist coils brown micaceous clay into a graciously rotund form, possessing a wide, slight undulated opening at the top. While in the firing process, fire clouding blushed the surface of the work. The artist happily contends that, "In a way, for me, if they don’t have fire clouds, they feel a little incomplete. The way I feel, the fire clouding is nature’s way of designing." One's gaze is immediately captured by Vigil's work of utter charm while its micaceous body is raised aflutter with mica flecks that sparkle whenever light touches its radiant surface.
