Lord Buddha, the epitome of non-violence and truth has been carved out of brass in an artistic manner. He is sitting in his universal posture with one hand preaching his devotees about the efficacies of non-violence and truth. He is sitting on a padmasana with crossed leg. Padmasana is a term derived from Sanskrit word padma: lotus, and sana: seat. In this position the legs are crossed, closely locked with the soles of both feet visible. The lotus seat upon which Lord Buddha sits symbolizes His divine origin. His hair, half closed eyes are quite prominent.
